I just heard a new one about concrete and wondering about it . I know things change and its been awhile since I did any concrete work .
I have a friend who just had a 30x40 , 5 " , shop slab poured in St. Louis area . Its a floating slab on gravel , fibermesh with rebar . This should be just fine to me but what kinda has me scratching my head is that it cant be more than 12 hours from the time of the pour to all forms stripped !
WOW Thats mighty fast aint it ? Machine finished and looks good <havent seen it myself . I have never heard of forms getting stripped near that fast before . Are mixes that advanced to support itself that fast ?
