Eh. I don't like the idea. In many cases you will have to slide under the vehicle to set it in place.

I like the idea. It should only take you 5 seconds to place it. With so many newer cars not having good locations to place a jack stand, there is a market for this. I have a floor jack that has locking pins that prevent it from collapsing in case of a piston failure. Similar idea.

Let’s see. Trusting the axle on a tool to catch the weight of a vehicle if the piston fails? Especially when we grab it where we have the most leverage to bend it. I’m out.

I could maybe see a use, but not in lieu of a proper jackstand. Might be good as an addition to proper jackstands, though there probably wouldn't be enough adjustment to use both correctly.

Could be good for holding an engine or trans when other work is being done, but again I'm not sure there would be enough fine tune adjustment to place it and lower the jack on to it. Might be good for a trailer. Might also be good for just changing a tire.

No way I'd give 140 bucks for that cute thing though.

That's a nope from me. I'm not reaching under a car held up by a floor jack to stick that in a pinch zone on the jack.

Well. I wouldn't fake thanks and throw it in the trash if received on . I have never seen one before. Thank you SEMA??
Would be interesting to see it tested. I have a 20 ton press and dad's old leaky steel jack. Hmm. Need to make some measurements.
