Flooring options
I have read a ton of stuff on here.. Everything from $30 a gal paint to racedeck. I'm pretty well as confused now as when I started. So I will just throw this out there and see what options y'all have. I have built a 50x50 metal shop. I'd like to protect the floor with something. I did have a mishap with the spray foam guy and his lift that busted a hose and soaked down about a 8 foot section of brand new floor with hydraulic fluid.. The floor was covered in plastic to protect from his foam and paint but it also let fluid under the plastic and held it there for two days until the hose could be replaced and the lift could be moved. So we are going to try to clean the area and move forward. Before this mishap I was looking at HD40 but now I'm afraid you will be able to see the stain even once cleaned. So I'm looking for alternatives. I don't want to break the bank as I am covering 2,500 Sq ft. This is going to be a shop where I tinker with hot rods and park my motorhome. Not a ton of in and out traffic but basic car repair stuff. So lets hear it, have you guys used that's affordable, looks decent and works. I understand there is no magic bullet and there are trade offs for each product.. I am just overwhelmed with all the info on here it is way more than I can sort through.
