I just bought a house with a 3 car garage and I want to get to work on the garage immediately. First on my list is the floor; The house is over twenty years old and the garage floor has some cracks and oil stains. What product can I use to fill cracks and imperfections? What can I use to clean the floor and get it prepped for paint? Will a muriatic acid solution do the trick or is there something better?
I painted the floor of my last garage with deck and patio oil based paint and it held up very well for the 21 years I owned that house. Is there something new I can coat the floors with that is not going to require elaborate prepping or cost an arm and a leg?
Thanks
