Hi guys,
quick question for the experts. Since I have access to a burnisher/polisher
would commercial floor wax be an option on a new concrete floor ?
I am wondering how this would hold up and look.
Any input would be welcome.

Floor wax is good protective medicine for concrete sealers as it will help to prevent surface scratching. Keep in mind in needs to be reapplied often, can create a slippery surface when wet and it has no resistance to common garage chemicals.

If the concrete was hard troweled you can treat it with a densifier and burnish it up.
Creates a sheen and a harder surface.

Here is a link to an earlier thread that shows a hard troweled floor with color in it:

Scott,
I am interested in using a densifier. The slab is 5400 square feet.
Was poured in September of '11 and machine finished smooth.
The contractor sprayed what he called an "acrylic cure seal" and assured me it wasn't permanent. This coating is worn off in some areas, blotchy and spider cracked in others.I would like to get it down to clean concrete. Can an industrial floor stripper take this stuff off ? ( it looks like acrylic floor wax to me. I can even razor blade it off.) I really don't want to get into mechanicaly grinding it off.
Thanks in advance.
