Foam tubing?

I was wondering if anyone has been successful with finding some foam tubing for their tools? Specifically for torque wrenches. I've done a google search and it seems like companies want minimum orders of 50-100 which doesn't seem reasonable for a weekend wrench like myself. I'm looking for foam tubing that can offer protection from dirt/ grime from my torque wrench handle that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Sheets? Sq.Feet? Linear Ft.? Meters?

There's closed cell and open cell and both come in sheet or tube form.

Make/model and mfgr of your torque wrench would help a lot.

And I seldom see foam protect from grime and dirt. It tends to harbor it, sadly.

For a minimum order most websites/ companies want you to order 50-100 pieces.

I believe I'm looking at closed cell for my application.

This is for a Snap-on QD3R250. I took measurements of he handle and I came up with:
•1.5 in. outside diameter (actual handle)
•3.5 in. length (metal only not including the rubber at the end)

For my application I doubt it would harbor dirt. I typically keep my tools clean while wrenching. Now I can see where one may have problems if the tools arnt kept somewhat clean during or neglected after a job. I was thinking something like these:

Skipping all the appealing looking jargon (pleasing to the eye????), go to McMaster Carr or a plumbing supply house and get pipe insulation.
