Love it. Thanks for keeping the thread alive.
maybe this week. i've been doing a little testing on the "down the road dragstrip". having a little ( major) issue with hook-up.Are you taking it to the track anytime soon? Would love details on how it does.
have hoosier bp slicks for at the track. plan on doing drag week type events someday, so i made this wheelie bar.

my colors are not actually factory colors to that truck, but they are factory colors to F100s of the same era. "lunar green" and "wimbelton white". the e100s had a similar blue, which is what my racing buddy has .Those are some great pics! Curious, I had a '69 G10 Chevy van in'73 and I could swear the color was the same as yours. Mine was a stock color. I also had a '61 Econoline van/pickup for probably close to 20 years. Partial pic at post #65.
Yes, i did have a tailgate in the works.Did you not have a tailgate going on?

Unfortunely i've heard the the repop patch panels are no longer available. Don't quote me, but thats what i saw on fb.this a very cool project & the drag events are impressive. I have a friend that is just starting a rebuild on a pickup as well... would you be able to share any info. on how get any body patch panels? he has alot of rust to repair & we have no clue as to where to get patch panels? also by chance would van patch panels work? His bad areas are all lower areas around wheel wells & doors. any assistance would be greatly appreciated. FYI: He is redoing it for his dad who is unable to rebuild it... it is a gift for him![]()
yes. and one less working transmission now....A year later and another Sick Summer, I'm pretty sure I caught the truck in some video coverage.
Have fun and good luck.
trans is a ford C4.I don't recall, what trans is it?
We just tagged along with RMRW Thursday and Friday, honestly glad I wasn't participating, it was hovering around 100F all week. We were pretty cooked just spectating.
