What is a good low cost code reader going to run me?
I figure I need to have one, But I'm not looking to spend more than 100$ if possible.
I Only really need one to read Ford OBD-1 codes (though I might get a GM adapter later).
I saw this on ebay but it seems kinda cheap, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3007-FORD-ECM-COMPUTER-CODE-READER-sp_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2c4b307337QQitemZ190240027447QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools
There was also this one, which has Ford & GM adapters.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260390600714
I'm new to using diagonstic tools like these, so I'm not really sure who makes a decent one.
What do you guys recommend?
