Ford OBD-1 code reader, best inexpensive one?

What is a good low cost code reader going to run me?

I figure I need to have one, But I'm not looking to spend more than 100$ if possible.

I Only really need one to read Ford OBD-1 codes (though I might get a GM adapter later).

I'm new to using diagonstic tools like these, so I'm not really sure who makes a decent one.

If your time is more valuable than mine, then ignore me, but for what it's worth, I pulled the codes on my '95 F150 by grounding the test plug and counting the CEL blinks. I think you can use a voltmeter with the older ford OBD-1 ECM's

if you are wanting an inexpensive one, you might look at the OTC 4000 series... they are outdated for most current uses, but will work with any obd1 vehicle... have a lot of adaptors available to work on different manufacturers domestic and import....

Also, a few Ford OBD1 vehicles had a datastream that can also be viewed with the Monitor 4000. Had a 93 Crown Vic the other day with a datastream, rare in older Fords prior to OBD2.
