Wonder what handles would work, Might have to get a cheapo Bit driver to steal the handle off of.

maybe ten minutes, very easy if it already has a handle on it.

i took a cheapo old master mechanic tawain roundhead and had the machine class turn down the knurled handle on a lathe. I then welded a few tangs on the handle and added another cman handle.

Had a slow day at work last summer and put a clear yellow and black Klein screwdriver handle on my 3/8" pittsburgh roto. Nice and chunky, feels good, great leverage and I love the look envy that appears on electricians faces when they see it.

I think I may take a 1/4 raised panel and machine the handle down and put a Craftsman Clear Handle on it.

I had actually considered doing something like that, too, but just wasn't sure if it would look right when I was done.

Had some free time and got to thinking about this idea.

I liked the look of the 3/8" I did, so I completed the set with a 1/4" and a 1/2"

The guts of the raised-panel ratchets still aren't great, but man, these are a lot more comfortable to use!

Funny thing on this one. I went to take the ergo plastic handle off and it cracked. I snapped the handle off and this is what was actually under the thin plastic. I think it's pretty cool as is. I was going to put a Pro screwdiver handle on but this was just too cool.

Those Craftsmans are ****! I had to try it T936 ratchet and an old single SDDP31 (#1 Phillips) I've had for years.

Where I have to cut the ratchet handle I dimple the shaft and with a .015 undersize hole I press the handle on.
