I don't know if this thrift shop has a CL listing for this, but if someone is in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, PM me to get the store location. This seems like a good price for a multi-generation-lasting storage cabinet, It's fire-resistant, thick pieces of what I suspect may be asbestos in the thick walls, but don't let that scare you. Mosler, who makes safes. $25. If I had a larger shop, I would have driven home w/this in my truck bed.

Run. Just... run far, far away from that!

Never ceases to amaze me that people seriously think anyone wants to deal with an ancient, dilapidated boat, for "free" (because they themselves don't want to pay to properly dispose of it).

Northern CA, A Diacro 1A bender. With stand and dies/acessories. $400. I'm recooping from recent prostate surgery ( no lifting over 25lbs) or I think I'd snag this myself as I've always wanted one.

Free boats cost a lot of money to the one foolish enough to take it . . .

.... but it's free!

CL free listings here are always a hoot.

FREE 1990 Dodge Van w/360 V8 NO TITLE

FREE Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor!

FREE Lawnmower! (most likely just needs a carb clean-out.)

Also a couple nice propane barbecue grills. (Some lucky dads got new ones for Father's Day.)

I keep waiting for a 30-inch white STOVE to show up. I want a new free stove. The one here is dirty, and I don't feel like fixing it any more.
28 years in this house and I'm on my FIFTH free stove now... I just beat 'em to death. No sense in payin' for one if I'm just going to abuse it.

^ I'm just really hard on stoves. I literally beat them to death. The one I'm using now is a GE 30-inch model. I've replaced burner elements, broiler elements, and still have a wiring harness that needs to be installed to get the big front burner working - I've been running with only three burners for a couple years now. Really need to get it done so I can make some jam - I need both big burners working for that.
Don't know the "why", to be honest. I'm just hard on stoves - bangin' pots and pans around and stuff. And unfortunately they don't build them like my mother's 1954 General Electric 36-inch model - that thing survived a house fire and just kept on goin'. (My father bought it from B&B Washer & Appliance down on 38th & G with the winnings from the bet he made with the obstetrician who delivered me.)

Really need to put this new broiler element in too. Damn things only seem to last about 6 months now.

But I'd rather just find another free stove on Craigslist. (y)

Yikes. We can't seem to get fridges or washing machines to last here, but our stoves have always been very reliable.

Thanks @four.cycle ! I will work on that Thor drill. I have another one that is slightly different I will be restoring. Both for $15? Not bad!

Not sure on the rasp. I might as it is a good deal but I have one made in England but I rarely use it.

Sacramento, CA, a box of 75 3" X 3" X 6" plastic drawer organizing bins for $25 bucks. They do have some old stickers, but hey for 33 cents apiece, I bought a box myself. Cut a bunch down to 1" and 2" heights to fit different drawers.

Edit: I had a link added, but it shows sellers phone number (with partly spelled numbers). Anyway doesn't feel appropriate, so I dropped it.
If this sounds interesting to anyone search "plastic organizing bins" CL Sacramento. He had 4-5 boxes when I was there.
