As always I still need more practice with pinstriping but I found these items of interest for some makeovers... Another Glass Chemists Cabinet I will use the larger one to store my Paints, Brushes, etc... the bottom will be a bed of dry desiccate to control moisture (Houston Humidity). For now I am using the smaller one... Also I found another drink fountain that just needs a knockout paint job with some striping. I will set this one next to my 3' 4" Stainless Water Fountain. This one is about 2' high which will be plumbed through a filter to supply cold filtered water to my 5yr old son and 2yr old daughter who both love to hang out with me in the garage... perfect solution vs. holding them up each time to get a drink~!

I'd like to paint the Older Drink Fountain with a heavy metal flake of some sort then pinstripe it and wrap the bottom with a small diamond plate trim that extends a bit to make it a 6" stand.

The lateral filing cabinet is great for storage the first cabinet lifts and slides in the others are giant drawers that slide out and only one at a time via internal anti-tip locks. I would like to do this black with the True Fire as seen by someone else who's first attempt at it turned out great (see www.kustomkulturelounge.com). I think that would be a great solution for the Bright colored cabinet...

Can I ask where you found these things? I love the idea of putting a custom painted water fountain in the garage and those cabinets are awesome.

Man I have the HUGE advantage / privilege of doing demolition for Refineries... mostly we deal with Units and Heavy Process equipment. But every so often we demo Labs, Admin Bldgs, and Maintenance shops. More times than not it's like the people just got up and left... they leave everything behind. We have one job coming up this year that has a Steam Engine Model in a glass case... I have my eye on that~! :bounce:

Awesome work!! How did you get the surface rust off the water cabinet? What was in the little fridge before - looks like meds!

Now those are all different items... The surface rust came off last night with Vert and Horiz sanding block strokes~! Which has got me wanting to go get a $15 blasting gun at Harbor Freight... the other fountain is all Stainless Steel.

It's a Chemists cabinet used to keep chemicals dry used in the Plastics business...
