Is it a piece of ****?
I've seen pictures of similar presses in some of you guys' shops, so it can't be all bad. The pulley on top of the motor has a chuck out of it, so I'll need to replace it, there seems to be a slight bit of wobble in the center pulley, some idiot drilled into the table several different places, and the paint is cracking off (someone tried repainting the head without cleaning off the old paint first) But all in all it seemed solid and it spins. Holy **** it is a heavy s.o.b.... its about 42 inches tall over all. I think the motor is a 3/4 hp.
I paid $25 for it. Worthwhile as a tool, or expensive scrap?
