Me too, Said it was coming from Iron Mountain Fulfillment.

Yep that is what mine said as well. It must be it then.

Mine came yesterday - Iron Mountain did the fulfillment on this promo for ITW / Tapcon.

Got mine today. Pretty nice kit!! Even has a drill-bit in it.

Thanks OP & thanks Tapcon!

Drill bit in mine was for an SDS plus rotary hammer drill - not sure if they all are going to be that style or not.

You have been here for only two months and YOU UNDERSTAND the rules.

Get something free, now you have to get something to go with it.

Even better when the tool companies have promos going on and you can get a nice Bosch drill for $50 off $200 at most online vendors. Dewalt is $20 off $100 too.

Ah, I was searching through my email to figure out what order had shipped UPS and couldn't find anything. That explains it and I have one waiting on me at home.

Did anyone get a confirmation via email that their form were being process?

Nope, and I couldn't remember if I had done it, so yesterday morning I filled out the form. Guess what came yesterday afternoon?

If I get another one, I'll give it to the maintenance guys.

Received the sample kit on Monday. I didn't realize Tapcon made the larger diameter fasteners. I use Tapcon for most of my concrete fastening and like them. This promotion introduced me to products I didn't know they made. It is a good promotion for them.

Got my Tapcon kit. Wish I could post a pic, but every time I select the picture it just kicks me out of Safari (iPhone 6 plus)

The drill bit alone is probably a $5 value

On the sample package, there is also a survey to take where you can win a Ramset Cobra+ Powder Actuated Tool and a Paslode Compact Nailer.

I shouldn't be telling you guys this... Makes my odds worse

Got mine today, very nice little group and great bit too! Thanks to OP and Tapcon! I use these all the time, they are the best way to anchor in concrete IMO

Iron Mountain sent me 2 of the intro kits!!!

I've got an SDS hammer drill. Have additional drills.

Now I just need to figure out something to hang.

How about Snap-On wall cabinets on my brick walled garage?

Or some pegboard?

Or some steel panels that hold Ames parts trays?

YES!

Ha, got my kit today and I'm shocked. I got the pack everyone else has described, but I got 8 packs!

I would have snapped a picture for proof, but I just figured that's what everyone got. They are out at the farm, now. Rebuilding the original barn, so these will be nice for fastening the still.

Big thanks to op and to tapcon!

When did they change the tip of the tapcon ?

Is this just the SDS bits? All the smler sizes I have used have the regular tip.

Can this bit in the package be used in a regular hammer drill or does it need the SDS style drill chuck?

The smaller screws will work well in the new threshhold I have to install in the garage.

I think they are talking about the pointed ti on the Tapcon screw itself.

But I agree - Ive never used Tapcons this big, so maybe the flat tip is normal for them? All the small ones Ive used (and bought in the last couple months) have a pointed tip.

Picked mine up last night from my buddies. nice samples for sure.
figured with respect to the pointed vs blunt tips: the blunt tips are for 5/16 & larger diameter, the pointed tips aer for 1/4 & 3/16 sizes.

The big brown truck dropped mine off today.

I know I'll use the 5/16" tapcons, maybe the 3/8" version but the 1/2" Tapcon ? Maybe as a coat hook ?
