Right when I think I'm making some progress and getting the garage cleaned up, it's more of the same...1 step forward, 2 steps back:
Now, I can't really complain because all those empty boxes and styrofoam are a result of us finally receiving our new sectional and 4 new bar stools for the kitchen island (and some from my Husky tool chest, of course). My dad will be by either today or tomorrow to haul most of this **** off and toss them in the dumpsters at his work.
We were having some difficulty in finding a sectional that checked off all our boxes (right color, comfort, size and layout) in the local stores, so we took a chance and ended up ordering one that we really liked from Wayfair.com. I must say, they packaged it very well, considering the awkward size/shapes:
After setting up the sectional, I came across this and wanted to cry a little:
Apparently, I had forgotten to put felt pads on the legs for the middle section. So while we were doing our best to not drag the sections to their respective locations in the living room, some dragging was inevitable.
I'll fix the scratches so they're at least less noticeable, so not the end of the world.
And just because, some more shots of the CCWs with their new rubber:
Yes, I know, the front needs to come down a bit more. I just wanted to make sure there was no rubbing with the new setup before I started tweaking the ride height. Rears look good to me, so I'll probably leave those alone for the time being. Can't go too low, though, as the entrance to my driveway is pretty steep.
