That color combo will go great with the cabinets AND the M3!

Hell yeah!
What’s the latest!?

Been moving at a snails pace lately. Winter and kids have taken over. But if I had to provide any updates, I guess I do have a few.
About a month ago, I used some of my fantasy football winnings to grab a few things I've been meaning to pickup. Some directly for the car and others indirectly for the car. First off, after much research, I decided to go with a set of opaque angel eyes from the Angel Eye Guy:
Very much looking forward to getting these installed, but not much of a rush since she's not leaving the garage until April the earliest.
Continuing with my Coby Wheel trend (steering wheel, shift and ebrake boots), I picked up a black Alcantara ebrake handle with red/navy/blue stitching.
I also took Matt's (OG) advice and picked up a set of Future Classic 15mm spacers. Haven't installed them yet, but I will be putting these up front and my 12mm spacers in the rear.
Oh and I snagged these sweet BMW M-Tech inspired socks:
The other purchases were detailing related. I picked up an EGO 530 blower (kit w/ battery and charger) to mainly use for drying off my cars after washes, but it will also occasionally see yard duty. But I've got an older Echo gas blower that will be the primary yard tool.
And lastly, to pair with my Sunjoe SPX3000 pressure washer and 50' kobrajet hose, I picked up a Cox Hose Reel:
I'll probably need a 5' jumper hose, but I'll wait until everything is in and mounted where I'd like before I grab one. Again, no rush because winter. That said, I did find some pretty good inspiration on the OG Facebook group for mounting my reel. Love the look of this setup

Just not sure how easy it would be to find something like that, as I don't think I am capable of making/machining something like that, myself. Anyone have any ideas? My backup plan is to do what I do with the air hose reel and use a wooden board to mount it between my garage doors. Roughly right around where the top of the shovel handle ends (pardon the old, pre-painted photo):
Before we left for our cruise last week, I did have a plumber come by to give me a quote on running water (hot and cold) into my garage. To have it run to the same area as the reel (between the garage doors), he said it would definitely be under $800, but he wanted to price out all the materials before he gave me a more precise number. This would be with using Pex for a clean, finished look. And ideally I would have two hookups added. A dedicated bucket filler and another for my pressure washer. Still waiting to hear back from him, though we did touch base earlier this week. Hoping to get this done in early Spring, so needless to say, I'm VERY excited. I need to keep in mind that I'd like to add a DI setup to my pressure washer, so things will need to be spaced out to eventually accommodate that. I'll probably switch over the outlet to a GFI to account for being near a water source. I may also raise the location of the outlet, but we'll see about that.
What else....um, I got really lucky and stumbled upon a spare used EGO 2.0Ah battery on craigslist a few weeks ago for a fantastic price. My blower came with a 2.5Ah, but I wanted a second battery as a backup if/when I run out of juice while drying cars. I met up with the guy yesterday and since he was only asking $40, I didn't bother trying to negotiate any lower, since that was already a great price. For comparison, Home Depot sells them brand new for $129.99.
Oh wow the og OG garage. I need to go back and find that thread.
Yessir! It's always fun to go back through his old posts.
Funny enough i hadn't realized when i initially posted that my place has a similar peak that matches the house.
Excited to see your space with the flooring which will completely transform the look. And yes always order extras!
One suggestion, based on your OCD level of course, would be doing something similar to what i've done in my last three garages is having black on the perimeter and then paint the lower stem wall to match and visually allow it to flow. I know Matt had baseboards which worked with his application but i didn't have baseboards, nor was i going to install them. Food for thought!
Oh go figure!
You and me, both, man! I was amazed at how much just the paint and cabinets transformed the garage. I don't know if I'm prepared for the next step the flooring will allow me to take. Order will be placed roughly 22 hours from now!!
I'm actually going with mostly slate gray for the flooring, with a black border for some contrast. But the black border won't be up against the walls. Instead, it'll be one or two tiles away from the walls, so not sure it'll work for me. But I appreciate the suggestion, nonetheless. I love how it looks in your garage!
Oh and I still need to fix the air hose reel mounting board, since I was called out earlier!

Trying to figure out the easiest way to fix it without removing it from the wall, entirely. Perhaps simply a sanding block?!
