Gaps on those new plugs, just a little tighter lol. Hope the coil comes in and gets you back on the road.
It's actually just a Harbor Freight moving blanket. I have a bunch of them laying around so I figured why not try and preserve the stainless steel worktop as best I can.Where’d you get the protective workbench mat?
Not entirely sure. These are the OEM plugs and I wanted to stick with them!NGK does not make a single electrode plug? I like a single electrode better because they have more material and you can gap them versus multi electrodes that some times drop one.
Car looks fantastic, have you mounted a CSL on the 340 yet just for giggles sake?
Thanks, bud! You and me, both! I'll be ordering 5 more soon, because you sure as **** know that the others will follow suit and start crapping the bed soon enough.Nice work! Glad the new coil cleared up the issue. Easy fix.

No Doubt! Did you see Matt Moreman just picked up an 05 E46 also? I'm sure you'll be excited to follow along with that build of his!
I missed that. Didn't see him E46 acquisition. I'm excited watching the latest Turner Motorsports videos as they finish up last years build of an OEM looking E46 M3 with a E92 V8 engine transplant.
Oh damn, ok then. I’m only about 1/2 way thru the podcast, so haven’t heard that yet. Watching right now with baited breath. And thanks for the the link….man that car is CLEAN!
I hear that. I listen to 2 podcasts religiously (The Smoking Tire and Everyday Driver) and with working from home full time (until next week, when I’ll start working in the office 1x week), I don’t have a ton of free time to listen to them.Oh, the podcasts are too long for me keep up with, especially with limited commute time as still only driving into the office 1/2 times a week. Very low mileage example.
Congrats, man! Where in MA?

Most people I talk to have never heard of it, either, unsurprisingly. It's starting to become a bit more commonplace on social media, but even some of the ******** automotive folks will have never heard of it. I'm trying to get in on it ahead of the curve. I honestly believe in 5 or so years, it'll be as common as PDR (paintless dent removal). 5-7 years ago, most folks were unaware of PDR. Now it's quite the specialty!I had never heard of this so I went to YT and studied up. I kind of want to do the same thing now! Looks like it would be very rewarding at the end of a job.
What do you plan to do to keep all of the airborne debris from coating the entire room?

I'd love to attend a Vintage at some point...I just don't have a vehicle that would qualify. You have been quite busy, I was considering going to the Vintage event but just started at a new place so taking a week off is out of the question. I am planning to attend the Saratoga Vintage event and might even take the E36 M3 in October.

Thanks, Franklin MA. Took that Pic in Bellingham.Um, yeah, I'd say so. Lots of changes since my last entry (how the hell has it been almost 7 months?!). See next post...
Also, did you end up grabbing that E90? Looks like a clean option!
Congrats, man! Where in MA?
Oh not super far from me. My buddy from college lives in Bellingham. Thanks, Franklin MA. Took that Pic in Bellingham.
Good luck with the new venture!!
That pic above was at Rock N' CoalOh not super far from me. My buddy from college lives in Bellingham.
If you know anyone who might be interested in dry ice cleaning, send them my way! Thank you!
I'm in Swansea,MA...and the shop is located in Raynham,MA.That pic above was at Rock N' Coal
Will do! Where are you located? (feel free to PM)
I'll be getting dry ice delivered. To produce dry ice is an entirely different beast. Need more equipment and tanks and space than I currently have.Fancy compressor, will you be making your own dry ice or does that need to be outsourced? Where is the shop located. Would love to have my E36 and the E91 get done at some point this year that way I can stay ahead of older car leaks.

Really depends on how much business I can attract. Figure to start taking on work primarily during the weekends to start, and as it (hopefully) picks up, will do weekday nights, if need be. If I get busy enough, I'll cut back to part-time at my full-time job and the goal is to eventually have dry ice be my full-time gig.So, how much extra time will you be spending at work..... M3 on lift being tinkered with. Will you be detailing on site as well?
Thinking your not monkeying with car toys right now with new business venture but I came across these and thought you might be interested. 17x9.5 et 35 anthracite contour 3 Arc-8 new.
