I actually saw a 'radio arm saw' that was made out of 'rod iron'.

Laugh all you want, but check out the manual which came with the RAS. Sears was marketing them as being able to function as a saw, shaper, grinder, planer, sander, router and drill press. There was a 'how-to' section for each function. Yes, they'd do all that, just most of it not very well.

I have the same table saw.

The guy is not that far from me....if I was home, I would be tempted to offer him $20 just so I have some spare parts.

I made my own stand.......

HaHa. I sometimes wonder if guys deliberately sabotage their own ads when the wife tries to make them sell stuff. You know the type. Mis-spelled (so it won't show up on a search), priced WAY too high..."Gee honey, I don't know why no one is buying my old car.":dunno:
