Hi everyone. I have just moved onto a five acre parcel of land and now need to have a garage/workshop put up. I am torn between a stick built shop which there might not be enough time to have done this year, or a future steel pre fab building kit.
Are any of you guys using steel buildings? Do you like them? Would you have a preference one way or the other?
What I am finding is that a steel building could be up in a pretty short time providing I get the concrete in before the ground freezes. There are some good deals out there on cancelled sales etc. Going with a stick built shop means paying full price for all materials and then still paying some big labor costs too.
I guess I want the best of both worlds by getting a nice shop to work in and not having to break the bank!
Please let me know your thoughts about the buildings mentioned. Thanks a bunch!
