Be honest. Are all of those empty socket slots driving you crazy yet? I think I'd always be thinking that I lost a socket somewhere.
That's the only good thing about having used a small Craftsman starter set for so many years now (I can quickly see what I've misplaced). Anyway, it's funny how I've managed to swap out engines and do rebuilds with a basic set and all of a sudden it's no longer good enough - and here I am now trying to see if I can get this damn set for as close to $300 as possible. I hate this board!
You're lucky - I need a new box now. Half of the sockets are spread out through 3 different drawers in my garage. The other half are on my kitchen table still, waiting for a home. I want a 40 incher montezuma but can't afford it so I may be stuck with the HF special.
I was missing a whole bag and was told to call the sears phone number and they would mail it out to me. I have yet to call though, I have been lazy the last couple of days.
I was missing 5 random sockets from different sets, and had two duplicates. Called customer service 1-800-823-7494 and they said they'd send them. That was a week ago and I haven't gotten them yet. Does anyone know how they send them, Postal Service or UPS or how long it takes?
You guys all ordered these online didn't you? i bought my set at sears and had a double of 1 socket and was missing another so i went to sears and had a painless nice exchange. A lot better than i expected, but i did come prepared in case the nice mister said no.
