I need some advice.
I'm having a 36x48x16 pole barn built to be my garage. Construction has been underway for nearly three weeks now. Everything has been going smooth with the contractor and his crew, up until a few days ago.
They were finishing hanging the girders and I came out and noticed they put girders where one of the roll up doors was intended to be. After a few minutes of being quietly frustrated, I told them it was fine and not a big deal that the door would be located further back than originally planned.
The rest of the day went smooth, they finished most of the girders, and left for the day. Usually they come let me know when they're leaving, but that day they just left. It's now been 3 days without them working, my contractor is responding to texts vaguely, and when asked when his guys will be back, he doesn't respond.
Should I be worried? I feel like I might be overreacting, but I wanted to put feelers out to get input from others. Thanks!
