Progress is slowly being made with my build, Thur or Friday my garage doors should be installed. I am not having the GC sheetrock the garage due to the cost, but intend to go back and do it myself in the next few months after I finish my wiring plan etc.
I have read a number of posts regarding sheetrocking before the door install, or remove the door install then sheetrocking.
I am wondering if I have another option which would be to place squares of drywall up where the mounts for the door will go along with the opener. (Maybe 24"x24")
I know it will require more patch work setting large sheets up later. Any other problems with this?
