OK. So the wife and I are in process of building a new house for ourselves and naturally, the garage is mine. I do not have the room to build an extra garage on the lot but I do have the ability to max out the attached garage to the 1000sq ft max. I will also be getting 12'4" ceiling height so I can have a 2 post lift.
I'm adding a few pics to ask about garage door options. Basically, there would be one single door and a double door for option 1 or three single doors for option 2.
Option 1 has a 10' single door and currently drawn with a 16' double door.
Option 1 has roughly 6' "space" to the left of the big door and 7' "space" between the doors.
Option 2 has 2 10' doors and a 9' door.
Option 2 has roughly 2'8" "space" on the left, 2'8" in the middle and 3'8" "space" to the inside bay.
I think I like option 2 better but would I miss the "space" available? The lift will go in the deep bay and will be a 2 post lift.
What are folks opinions and why? Thanks!
