A lttle bit of everything here. Five star hotel quality to a...lets call it improvised plumbing:thumbup: All pretty cool really! Seeing all these has me wanting to do a fifties style in my shop. I stubbed for a bathroom when building, but never followed thru. I have been using as a closet. And this past year, The polybutlwhatever pipe to my shop sprung a leak. We lost the one to the house two years ago and that was pricy to replace. The shop is twice the distance to the street. Really miss my shop sink and washing my car in there. Thinking about pulling from the house which would only be a third the distance. Seeing these cool bathrooms, it really makes me want to get that fixed and finish it up!!! Already have some neat signs and a old condom machine to decorate it!!!! !.
A look from outside my to be rest room.....

Perhaps a bit of overkill at my local Mercedes independent service shop...

I'm very friendly with these guys and they are always thinking up cool stuff for the shop. Right now they're fixing up the "classic" workshop in preparation for hosting StarTech, the big Mercedes technical gathering in spring. Always fun to see what they're doing and they've done some great work on my car.

Has anyone used the Incinolet toilets? My garage is not plumbed and there is no easy or cheap way to install water or plumbing. I have seen these toilets and thought about getting one. They are not really cheap either. $1,800. but if I want a toilet it may be the only way to go (no pun intended) There may be cheaper versions but I have not seriously looked into it yet.

How do the waterless urinals actually work?

Here is a link to the Incinolet toilets

My dad had one in his camp. It worked OK. For a urinal, I would suggest a funnel and a hose to a shallow dry well.

Not sure if I could do the business with that bird looking at me>.. Is that slate tile or porcelain? I like the color.

one of the shipyards i work at has stainless diamond plate on the stall walls. a 360 degree mirrored view of yourself...... the bird wouldn't bother me! :lol_hitti

Technically, it's inside the house just off the garage. Haha. Last owners finished the basement and I don't mind it. Tile is easy to clean up.

Digging up this old thread, I posted in it a long time ago about my waterline issue. I put in a new line and was given a 1964 Eljer toilet and sink. Did my 1st ever ceramic tile and some plumbing. Soon, I will throw up some period correct signs, etc to feel like a Texaco station restroom.
