This is my first time to post, but I have been watching other peoples projects and I have really enjoyed and appreciated all the hard work. I've got a lot of photos so I won't be able to post them all tonight. I will also attempt to post them in the order of progress. Enjoy!

The overall garage is 40' deep x 36' wide. We just finished this week, installing a 4 ton 80,000 BTU forced air furnace in the attic. Has 2 returns and 8 registers. Sure nice to have some heat in there. The next project is to blow in the attic insulation.

We still have a lot of finish work on the interior and toyroom. We are currently building a very large diorama in the toyroom and will post pictures of it when finished in about 2 weeks. Actually, myself and a friend are hoping to start a little business doing dioramas and dimensional pictures.

I apologize for this thread being so long, but it should give a pretty good overviw of the project.

I think any garage with that car (the power wheels, haha) in it will look cool, can't wait to see the new pics.

Great garage; how does the pit for the mower and tractor work under the motor home?

How did you come up with that idea, any chance of some pics.

The property has a natural 42" elevation drop from the front of garage to the rear. I wanted someplace to park my John Deere (tractor/mower) and didn't want to take up garage space. It was a natural to put in a walk out/driveout pit. When the motorhome is parked, I can actually back in and drive out with only having to bend my head down a few inches when going under the rear bumper. The city wasn't real crazy about the pit when I applied for the permit. The had never had anyone put one in a residential garage before, but they finally agreed.

I can't take any pictures right now as the motorhome is all the way back against the rear door. I am working on a large playhouse for our granddaughter and it is between the front of motorhome and big garage door. I hope to have it done in the next couple weeks and will take some pictures.

Post some more pics of the cars when you get a chance. Garage looks great

We had a business building 1/2 scale mini Vettes until 9/11. People just weren't spending money on (big toys) so we ended up shutting it down. The silver car in the garage was a replica of an '85 that my sister had at the time. After she sold it and bought a '94 Roadster, I also made a mini version of that one too. The mini Grand Sport was a car that we built for a customer. The other pictures are of my '63 with the entire powertrain, interior, suspension and electronics fom '96 Grand Sport #0300.

I'm not sure what the problem is. It sounds like something at your end as no one else has said they can't view them.

I see the same thing???

Looks like they're dissappeared from photobucket, they're certainly not in your albums.

Now I can see the photos I see what you mean about your mower pit, that's a brilliant use of space.

Great garage. That pit is probably the best use of space that I've seen in a while. Great idea to be able to put them out of the way and not worry about working around them.
