ok, points duly noted. white it is....which is good because i've got 5 gallons left!
my last garage re-do was semi gloss ultra white. this time i toned it down a little with satin ultra white. still pretty darned bright/reflective.
i like the satin or semi gloss finish because it wipes down easier.
after that comes floor. will post pics of when it's all done.
this was my last one, a dream setup for me. pic taken before we moved, too bad i don't have one of it all neat & tidy and dialed in with stuff. has racedeck (garagedeck) floor, pegboard, beer fridge, double insulated block walls (r-10 foam then r-19 batts on walls and ceilings as well as rafters), in-wall 15k watt radiant heater w/fan, 60 amp subpanel, semi gloss white exterior paint all around, tsunamiseal threshold, tons of t8 overhead lighting, huge lighted storage attic upstairs, wall-mounted shelves (i left the 2x6 there which was a french cleat), and a custom built workbench made out of vintage solid oak front entry door and weighed a metric S&$# ton. the squares on the left wall by the way are cork, used to protect wall from bike tires--that's a rubbermaid hanging bike rack system mounted on there.
finished it, enjoyed it for a month or so, and then we moved....go figure....
now it's on to next project. much of the good ideas came from this here forum, so thanks for all the tips, photos, etc. i quietly lurk 'round here and take it all in.
