I toss the racks in the trash. I hate to but I absolutely don't or need them. I'd take 4 extra bins rather than that rack be included in the box.

That's smart. Those racks are just itching for a chance to dump all your hardware all mixed together on the floor. Dumping the racks will save you loads of time picking up and sorting hardware.

What's the width dimension of those bins? I haven't looked hard for bins yet but will need to get some bins in the near future for hardware. I got a hardware storage cabinet, but the long drawers need to be divided by bins to make it easier to organize and take the hardware to the work area in the future.

I'll have to measure them tomorrow. They are decent at the price ($20) for the amount of bins you get. I've bought more bins from Menard's which are a similar size. A better bin but more money as they are sold individually.

Pretty much how I have had the addition set up since built. The pallet racking on the left was set up this way for the back hoe on the JD 1025R. That's now gone and the grapple resides in it's place.

After I lowered the shelf beam, I decided to trim the bench top a 1/4".
Most of it put back together. The bench top now sits at 40" high. I had to knock off early as a tech from Spectrum was coming to work on the home Internet.

I decided to switch it around and flip flop them. I had to leave a gap for the outlet below.... However, I might be able to work around that.

While moving them around, I decided it was time to make a backing for the Kobalt box.
I used a small piece of aluminum diamond plate and bent it with the brake. Drilled a few holes and aluminum pop rivets.
Now the Kobalt desk box sits in a corner.

Going back out to the garage after supper, I wanted to get a small project done or at least to a point.
Earlier this year, I had an issue with my plasma cutter and fixed under warranty. It turns out it was an internal air issue. After some thought, I wondered if leaving some air pressure on the plasma cutter caused the issue.
This is how it was plumbed up.
I added a Tee and valve to drain the excess pressure.
Then primed it
Tomorrow I will get some paint on it and build something like a hanger to hold some of the weight.

Eyes are fine. That was just a light I put up for something extra when I set up the addition.
I planned on using the bench more but never do. Now that the welding table is done, I have done more on this side.

I leveled the best I could and ran the plate compactor over. Once that was done, I went to the quarry and bought 4 tons of 411 limestone gravel.
Using the JD and FEL, I started to spread the stone out. I was about half way and it had rained a little bit here and there. Then it rained harder or felt like it. Then I noticed it was hail. Wasn't expecting that.
I leveled the best I could and ran the plate compactor over. Once that was done, I went to the quarry and bought 4 tons of 411 limestone gravel.

After spreading the stone and running the plate compactor more, the driveway was done for Winter. Next spring, it'll get a top layer of #8 stone.

Yes it is. I don't need the plate compactor all the time but it is nice to have.
I think I have used it 4 times since the wife bought it for me. I think it's about $40/day to rent plus a 40-45 mile round trip drive to rent it.

The garage is connected to the house and doesn't/won't have a separate service like it does for power.
My understanding is that they will be back next week to start connecting up service for the water line to the house.

Making room for Winter time work.
The Cobra is loaded in the enclosed trailer ready to go to winter storage. I put the golf cart on the wheel dollies so I can easily move it if needed.
Next up will be getting the Mustang on jack stands for some work.

They are putting hydrants in but are more for flushing than fire fighting. They could be used to fill a tanker by free flow but they are too small to pull a suction on

Added some Hansen socket trays to the new USGen box.
This freed up some room in two different drawers. One, allowed for the wrenches to breathe.

The other drawer kept the specialty sockets but gained the C-clamps as I chose not to add them to the welding table.

I was working at my parents yesterday and snapped a picture of the AC unit cover.
It just sits in place to keep all the leaves and seedlings out of the unit over the fall/winter.

It's not secured but is protected from the prevailing wind
If need be, I will drill 4 holes and hold it down with some mini- bungee cords.

These Hansen trays are nice but I believe they purposely add more socket spaces than actually needed.... can't have empty spots.
