Very nice collection of tools and I like the way you organised it all. Always good to have some room to grow, I'm sure you will fill it up over the next years. Also like the colour, I would as one of our cars is the same/similar colour.

The Performax organizers I picked up at Menards are pretty awesome for the price, 18 count for $4. Too bad they are clearanced out. They have a small hook to allow them to interlock. I bought one set and liked them but the local store was sold out. So I found them at another store, they had 4 sets left and bought all four of them.

@NUTTSGT when I saw the organizers on GJ I immediately got online and ordered 4 sets from my nearest Menards. That cleared out all in the east of Columbus.

They work very well and are slowly migrating into place.

The Performax organizers I picked up at Menards are pretty awesome for the price, 18 count for $4. Too bad they are clearanced out. They have a small hook to allow them to interlock. I bought one set and liked them but the local store was sold out. So I found them at another store, they had 4 sets left and bought all four of them.

I fought it for awhile. . . probably a couple of years. The urge kept getting stronger.

Joking aside, the setup looks amazing Eric. Very nice execution and layout. The side locker will be the cherry on top of an already impressive setup.

Not many, including 2 spammers but to be fair, it was listed less than 24 hours before someone was coming to look at it.

If he would have had all the cash on him that night, he would have left with it. He came back yesterday to get it.

I listed it Sunday night and it was gone by 1:30pm Tuesday.

I have moved a few things out of the drawer as of yesterday. Did a little more organization on the box using those Performax bins. I have to admit, it's a work in progress.

I have some stuff on the other side sitting on the pallet racking that is tool sets in plastic cases. That stuff will migrate to the end cabinet.

Then there is the bottom pull out drawer in the cabinet. Not certain what I will use it for, maybe a glove drawer; nitrile, coated, work gloves and such

I want to get some liners to put shelves first before I load it up. I had some thin rubber ones, about 1/8" thick. I wish I could remember where I got it from.

Didn't get much done in the garage as it was set up for Turkey dinner.



Also in the near future, we'll be city water. The tap is in and the line is bored under the road. More of that in a few weeks.

Between a little shopping and spending time with the wife, she came out to the garage to lend me a hand.


Boxes moved down and the end locker installed.



Test fit and possible placement for the nitrile glove dispenser on the inside of the door.


Shelves are out and will be getting covered with some automotive carpet rather than rubber drawer liner.

Thank you. I know I mentioned before that they matched my truck. However, now that I think about it, I kind of picked the truck color to match the enclosed trailer color.

Home garages tend to have a lot of tools, because DIY means we need tools for lots of trades. Plumber, electrician, carpenter, mechanic (metric and fractional), roofer, mason, sheet rocker, tiler, appliance repair tech. etc. Does not surprise me at all that you'd need those boxes.

I did a little side by side comparison today between the US Gen and Kobalt mini-tool boxes. If you're interested in seeing it.

After screwing around with the comparison, I got to work with some locker upgrade.





I marked the backside of the carpet with a silver marker I bought from Amazon. It worked good.

I cut out all the squares of carpet. I used a hot glue gun to attach them to the shelves. I had to glue one to the fixed shelf which is part of the drawer.



Once that was done, I put the shelves back in.

Then I moved some blow molded tool cases to the locker. I used the drawer for some glove storage.


I cut an extra square of carpet to protect the paint on the top and put my GE light bulb display cabinet on top.

I had plenty of carpet left so I decided to do one other thing. The top of the microwave has become an "office" area.


But years of life in the garage has yielded a nasty looking top.... which is just over spray.
