I like the setup G3 I think the biggest I can go is 47 on the wall between my pegboard and the window.

I have five TV's in the garage since it doubles as my play room/bar. Four of them are free hand me downs of the CRT variety and one an LED LCD. Temperature hasn't been a problem at all with it or the LED monitor for the computer.
We are all getting screwed though since my cable company has been moving channels to digital-only meaning my old TV's are being phased out. Can't get Big Ten Network and a few other major channels so I'm looking at getting a few more modern TV's with a digital tuner. Pretty po'd though that I'm paying for channels that I can no longer get on 5 of my TV's!
Looking at Tiger Direct, local stores, and Craiglist for replacements. Kinda scared to get a Criagslist TV though. Spending some money I don't have on something that has no warranty or any idea of its true condition worries me.
Check on the manufacturer's web sites - they often list operation temp ranges.
That said, I have an older Sony WEGA tube type TV in my shop - and after lifting the 300lbs of joy 5.5ft - it stay there until it is dead...
When I'm ready for a TV in the barn I'm taking the 63" out of my Family room and replacing it with a 70". The 63 is 6 years old but still looks great!
Can't go too much bigger on that wall. It's amazing how much a room size makes a difference. That does not look over powering or too large for the room looks great and as always bigger is better
Looks good kevin! By the way been meaning to ask, where do you live in the useless nut state?
BTC if you have a Best Buy near you they will recycle your old TV for free. I've dropped off tv's, vcrs, etc at my local one up here in the Twin Citites. As for me my first TV will be a TV/monitor for the computer before going to something bigger for the entire garage.
Boss........I noticed the Sandy Hook wall hanging. Not to pry but do you have kids that went there? You don't have to answer if you don't want.
Yes, thank you. Fortunately mine are now 16 & 18 and weren't there when it happened. The sign was a gift that had been standing in the corner for almost a year - it went up on the wall 5 days prior to the shooting.
It was a great school filled with wonderful people.
Now you will have absolutely no reason to leave the garage, get a lazy boy in there too. I'll be honest, I think it will sidetrack you a lot.
I always have neighbors coming over in the summer if they see me in the garage working. The only rule is that they do not come empty handed. Now if one stops by with a beer we can watch a ballgame or a race and drink a beer. My garage is a place for me to work on my stuff and enjoy myself and unwind. I worked with a guy in the garage before and he couldnt even listen to the radio while working. the silence was killing me haha.
Love to see so many more people putting TV's in the garage. My favorite though is seeing what is on the screen whenever you snap the photo.... Jeff (Semper Fi) and.....what are you watching? ha
Put my old 36" CRT up on a heavy duty corner shelf. Painted 2 coats of flat clear over the screen to eleminate the glare from the bare bulbs. Works great.
