Well, this weekend I tackled a new workbench.
48" tall, 24" deep, corner unit.
Holds the TV, Stereo (soon, need to rewire), Fridge, Microwave, and Coffee Pot (not pictured).
I still need to rewire the stereo and run a small extension cord for the surge protector.
The final leg and shelf needs to be installed, but this thing is SOLID. When we were attaching the Shelf for the TV, I was kneeling on it (above the fridge) and it does not move. Dead Level too!!!
There are multiple cross braces to improve strength and rigidity. Also, I used a 2x2 above the fridge for clearance.
Don't mind the TV, the Steelers already won and dad wanted to watch the Browns..
Next Phase - move the current bench (old desk) next to the new bench and continue cleaning. Also need to finalize painting and redo the pegboards.
