Jake, that corner looks good, have you updated your shop build thread lately?
No I haven’t. I need to though. It turned out amazingly well and I am proud of the project. I’ve done bought me a CNC router and have begun to generate a meager return on my machine investment. I will look at the post and see where I need to update it. Thank you for the kick in the rear to do that. This forum is great!

I'm super excited to get into my new place and get cracking on some projects! I like this layout, I am gonna base my bench off this, along with the floating shelf. I love the 45 in the corner, not sure why, but I'm kinda obsessed with that.

Might pick up some of this for the bench top.

I noticed those Grave Digger type cars. I have a small Grave Digger pirate skull flag in our garage that we got in the late 90s when taking our son and his friends to see a Monster Truck show. The most impressive thing to me was the sand dragsters (or whatever they are called) that had huge extremely loud engines and went through sand as if it were one of those mud pits. All the kids put their fingers in their ears when those engines revved up.

No I haven’t. I should though. It’s been sometime and I have done quite a bit to it. I added a CNC machine the end of May and learning about that has taken so much time. I will have a gander at the thread and see where to begin. Thanks for the kick in the ****, sometimes we all need it!

It’s regular oak hardwood flooring that came out of my house when they screwed up the install. I cut it out in sections and used it here. It really breaks up the all gray walls and allowed me to make nice wood window sills.

Here's mine, build the frame out of left over pressure treated from the deck build when the house was built. It's 26" deep x 79" wide and 37" from the floor. Im going to make drawers on it. It's been this way since early 2014 when I built it but I'm motivated now. The top is a 1" thick glue lam with lots of layers of poly on it, I keep the all weather carpet on it a bit now. You can see it has character now. I can unbolt it and move the beast if I have to. I know its in front of the panel IMG_6352.JPG

Just finished mine, thought I’d share. I’m very happy with it. $50 solid core door from a doctors office on Facebook Marketplace. Particularly happy with how the support leg came out, my first attempt at a real woodworking joint.
