Peterwgpa - nice collection of Group A cars mate. Have you had them a while or recent additions. More info please.

For the US and overseas members here, these cars were the premier touring car racing category in Australia in the late '80's/early 90's and are now enjoying somewhat of a historical revival. Values of genuine Group A race cars are on the increase and collectability value is very high. These once discarded "old" race cars are now bringing upwards of $200-300K depending on history and racing pedigree.

footnote: The yellow car in the middle is a HSV Monaro sold in the US as a Pontiac GTO. Very nice cars. (I have the last edition CV8Z Monaro as a 'keeper' for me (but which I use as my daily driver) and that later will be given to my son to enjoy and hang onto.

Yup converting it from street/track duty to strictly track machine. Big honking turbo is stopping me from any spec racing. She's pushing about 265whp right now...

Cool, sounds like a lot of fun. Next time I'm on the track I'll look for the flash flying by on the straights.

Re: Modern garage in Far East

Having installed the last item on my job list, I thought I should now post a picture of the completed garage in this thread, taken this cool evening in the tropics.

here is mine. this is the first time my two cars have been together to photograph. i normally keep one car in my enclosed trailer and one in the garage. i have one stall devoted to automotive machine work and some sheet metal shaping and fabrication. the wagon is a full time superpro bracket car. the nova spends most of the time on the street but soon it will be doing some nostalgia super stock racing. plan to keep it streetable. as soon as the weather breaks around here. going to side this garage and the small garage behind it. then will be making over inside. bigger electric service, lighting and cabinets.
