Well, this thread is going to get long and hard to find people and their tools/abilities. What you need is kind of a Wiki. Or a searchable database. Same thing?

I just searched the thread at the top for "long beach." Nothing even though it shows under my avatar. However, I searched "phone" and it did show the post on top of mine. So I guess everyone needs to put their location in the text.

Just bumping this up to the top. I haven't forgot, but I been busy in the garage fixing my screwups from the week, plus had to mow the lawn. I'm hoping to get started on something tonight or sometime tomorrow. I did e-mail my buddy and he has a sandblaster, so I got that portion out of the road so I can get my press back together. I'll get something together shortly.

I'm bouncing this back up to the top to let you guys know I haven't forgot it. I've been so busy lately trying to get things situated in the garage, get, or already did get, my press back together, then I ran into another problem with the paint that I used when repairing something, so I have to rework that. I'm hoping to have things caught up this week so I can get back on this and get it going. Trust me, I'm not slacking on it or forgetting it, I'm just trying to get caught up on some other things first.

I have a lot of mechanical tools power tools and our new place will have me in a new 37 X 29 2 story garage with doors front and rear. I am more than willing to help anybody I can if I can. What I really need and don't have yet is some welding gear mig/tig and a good set of torches. Always got my eyes open sooner or later I will have those as well.

I'm on the Kansas side of KC, and I don't have any real machine tools, but I have a lot of experience on European imports and industrial machinery and I have a well equipped small two car garage (no lift) if I can ever be of some help.

It's my fault people. I dropped the ball. Although I haven't forgot it, I haven't done anything with it, and that is entirely on me. I'm glad this was bounced back up to the top though and I will paste a post-it note on my computer so I don't let this go by the wayside.

I know that with all of the other machinist out there, that there are times I could have used a few to do stuff for me.'

I will get on this. I promise!!!!

Great initiative guys. Sadly, (all my manufacturing/engineering working career was spent in the office, not the shop) the only thing smaller than my talent is my list of equipment and my garage footprint.

Let's see some collaboration projects!

Yes very small world !...Where abouts Perrorojo? Are you a transplant from up this way?
Nice to meet you!

I have an Aunt/Uncle+2 cousins that moved from Indiana to NY years ago. Their last name is Endicott. Just saw them over the holidays. I've always loved that area but I'm glad I don't have your taxes.
