Well I have searched high and low for examples here and elsewhere and am having a heck of a time finding examples of Old School Gas Station Themed Garages.

Basically what I am planning to do is build a larger garage where I can store the toys, display, and of course work on them too. I was hoping to build something that had the look and feel of an old Route 66 Style Texaco station. Something like the one in Dwight IL. Complete with the overhead awning, gas pumps, office and service bays.

Has anyone done this? Any examples? Thanks in advance!

Select search, then at the bottom of the drop down box, select "Advanced Search", then go to the far left and in the "Keyword search" enter "gas station" and then in the box to the lower right, select "garage gallery" as the forum to search. Then at the bottom select the "search" button.

Look at those threads and see if that doesn't help.

Search function requires more than three letters, thus "gas" by itself will not find anything relevant.

This is a great one with the build fully documented on this site. (Not by me though).

Yeah, I manged to find that one stumbling around here.

And yes, I did use the Advanced Search. Still did not yield much. Though I did find Rogers thread buried deep within it.

Roger's build is exactly what I was looking for. Looks like that classic Dwight Station! Even down to the Texaco Theme. I'd probably have to be a bit bigger for both shop and show room, but overall its pretty much what I was looking for!

Thanks!!!
