clawman, I am not sure about a Jobox.
Can I suggest you ask the question of Jobox
I would investigate the gasoline MSDS and local health and safety procedures / standards and go by those recommendations.
Whatever storage you elect to go with it will need to be very well ventilated as fuel storage does pose a huge risk..

Not a JobBox but I have a metal cabinet I keep my fuel tanks in, on one side near the top it has a 2" hole with a piece expanded steel weld over the hole.

They make cabinets specifically for storing flammable materials in. Typically yellow with self closing doors and ventilation.

Fairly pricey...and may aggravate your home owners insurance, if you tell them. They do work though. Each shop at school had at least two or three. TN and VA have regs as to what can be "mixed" storage and what has to have only "xxxxx".

As suggested I would cut an inlet bottom and outlet top to avoid concentrating vapors. I would not expose it to direct sunlight either. Keep temp swings to a minimum.
I would think typically the individual fuel containers are good enough to hold their own contents. The metal shell helps avoid any damage and helps if fire potentially started inside or out of the metal shell.

I store gasoline in the pictured safety cans and in equipment and vehicle gasoline tanks, most of which are in the garage.

Those cabinets are expensive and need to be vented to the outside, to properly do their job.

Used cabinets aren't that expensive (have two 45 gallon cabinets myself, found on craigslist for $125-150 apiece).

This is the best way I think. I found 2 on govliquidations.com and won the auction for $50. I am close to a military base that has a DLA (formerly DRMO), so it may be an option if you’re close to a government facility listed on the website.

Where are you wanting to store the gasoline cans? In your garage? Outside? Somewhere else?
How many cans / gallons are we talking about?
What are your main concerns? Fumes? Keeping away from kids? Leaks?

You may vent them to the outside but there is no requirement for it. It's preferred to leave the plugs in. The point of a flammable/combustible storage cabinet is to minimalize the content's to exposure to a fire outside of the cabinet, not reduce the risk of one inside the cabinet.

I found a plastic shipping container with a open top. made a over sized lid for venting and it sits out side my barn. it will hold 8, 5 gallon cans.
if I remember right it was a plastic tote bin from Chrysler. I will try to remember to take a picture next time I am out there.

if stored outside cut some vent holes.
Most Job Boxes I have seen have "leaked" enough air wise that I wouldn't worry about fume build up as long as you keep it out of the sun
If it is out doors, paint it white and shade it somehow,.
BTW, I an sure that, because of product liability concerns, Job Box would say "No way."
