Would a Jobox or similar be a good storage container for gasoline cans? Would fume buildup be a safety concern?

They make cabinets specifically for storing flammable materials in. Typically yellow with self closing doors and ventilation.
clawman, I am not sure about a Jobox.
Can I suggest you ask the question of Jobox
I would investigate the gasoline MSDS and local health and safety procedures / standards and go by those recommendations.
Whatever storage you elect to go with it will need to be very well ventilated as fuel storage does pose a huge risk..

Those cabinets are expensive and need to be vented to the outside, to properly do their job.
Joe
No, they don't need to be vented outside https://www.grainger.com/content/qt-pr-flammable-chemical-storage-cabinet-ventilation-215
