that's one way to get your attention:bounce:
I think the stick on would be fine. I'm not sure of the size of label , I need to go measure it. The metal bins aren't very big like the Larson metal bins are. I have small hands and I can barley get my hand inside to pickup a washer or bolt. Maybe people had smaller hands 50 years ago:)
What I have left is fine thread, and some metric size. I might just text you a picture of whats going on. I'll do that tomorrow
I also have something for you that you can use on the go cart.
Thanks JB, you know I love you man even if youre half my age:lol_hitti

Sounds good to me, let me know what size the labels need to be and what you want on them and I can make something happen. I know my hands are bigger now than they were 50 years ago. :)

Have a good one,
JB

Here is a nice sign from the last Hooters that closed from Wichita.
This is a new project, soon to be. It’s a 67? I think. International Scout, all there hasn’t ran in 25 some years.
More to come, just testing out my IPad.

Yes I do. I have been working on the Chevy. Put new wiring harness from firewall forward. I have new radiator and alternator, water pump , belts, plugs, plug wires.
Also trying to keep up with my mowing and other outside projects. Time I'm done pulling weeds etc, I'm usually too tired to work on anything else.
I see you been busy with some projects, looking good.:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm in the same boat as you Herb I'm not putting in the 12 hours a day any more . Seems like after lunch I want to come in the house and enjoy the air conditioning more than work out in the garage.

For sure Don. My mind tells me all the things I need to do, but my body says "not all today" Then my little BUG says" go on inside and lay down , you can do this tomorrow". Wife says" you need to mow the yard and go with me to town and buy groceries":dunno:
can't win this game:lol:

Looks like a fun project. I feel you on the lawn and weeds, it is a full weekend day to keep up on that.

JB

It takes me 14 hours to mow with the hustler, and the push mower, and the wife helps out with the weedeater. Then 8 or 9 days later, repeat. I can rember mowing it with my Kubota with the finish mower on bottom and it took a couple more hours.:wtf:
You got room for a Scout yet?

Haha, not quite, I have an RX-7 I need to get running first, sadly it is in major need of repairs as well. I'll get to it eventually.

Man these last three weeks have been for not the weak of heart. I’ve been to two funerals. One was a good friend from high school, we hung out all the time. Working on our hot rods, draging Main, chasing girls and being cool.RIP Ralphie.
The second was my cousin, died in surgery for a hernia. 54 years old, she leaves behind two daughters. RIP Shirell.
And the hardest one is our 15 year old dog,Mojito. A couple years ago he was diagnosed with heart congestion, had to give 2 pills a day. Then a month ago he was diagnosed with kidney problems, spent the last 10 days going in for IV treatment, helped out for a couple days then started going down hill again. Mo kept fighting, but I had to make the hard heart breaking decisions that enough is enough. RIP MO dog.

Ahhhhh Herb,

I am sorry to see this.

Mojito hated me, and I never got to even touch him every time I visited.

Your home will be silent, but you have the memory of the time he was your kid.

Herb, funerals to say goodby to your friend and your cousin are really sad events. Deciding you have to send your best friend over the Rainbow Bridge is a whole different kind of sad. You have my deepest sympathy for all three.

Very sorry to hear all of that Herb, I wish you the best of luck getting through this tough time. I always try to share this poem when a loved animal passes:

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I thank all of you guys with your kind words and thoughts and prayers. Much appreciated, it’s nice and comforting to know I can share this with my garage family.
Rain, don’t feel bad, Mo only liked 3 people... Lucy and her mom and I. Grandma took it the Worst, she cared more for Mo than anyone else. Every time she called she wanted to make sure he was fed, and every day he would go to her house and she would cook chicken and rice and feed him with a spoon. Moe’s mom would wipe his feet and but after coming in from doing his duty.
JB thanks for the poem of rainbow bridge, the Vet has a framed poem on the wall where I guess the room is used for the final journey.
Bob and Outlaw, thanks for your kind words thoughts and prayers.
Animals are hard to let go, I find myself thinking about him a lot . Mo hated thunderstorms always scarred him, so tonight we had a thunderstorm . Any way I have to accept that he’s doing much better, no more pain. Thanks you all, I appreciate the kind words and thoughts.
Lots of love received and sent back at you

These are Arizona copper plates. I think they started in 1933. Almost all of them are solid copper. They look really nice with the red letters.

Some nice new plates there Herb, of course I'm partial to the Dilly JB plate for some reason.

JB

You seen it, that’s the one. It’s a pretty plate, hard to let go. But since you’re a good friend, and named JB, it’s the right thing to do.
OK, the old military file cabinets are full of plates. I have them somewhat organized by theme, 666, vanity, foreign, Kansas, Illinois. For some reason I have almost all the years of Illinois. Of course Kansas. I have a lot of military, but not anything old. Lots of WWII campaigns like Pacific, Battle of the Bulge, POW, Korea, Vietnam,Gulf, Iraq etc.
