Yes, she’s my new shop dog. Got her at 6 weeks old. Full black lab, mom was a light brown, dad was solid black.I get solid black with a little brown on her cheeks and lower legs. Her name is”SAMBA “. Friendly as hell, loves everyone. Not much of a watch or guard dog. But she’s very lovable and turning out to be a good companion in the barn.
Still miss MOJITO, but not expecting her as a replacement. Thanks for asking

bug, sorry for the late reply. I believe that you can order different styles from the AZ. DMV. Last time I looked you can view the different styles and then pay a fee for one that you desire.... I will look when I get ready to do the plates for my 1986 C10 project

Okay boys and girls, I have some pictures of this week’s catch. License plates, Alaska HARP, Nebraska 1948, Kansas 666 steel, 6 plates from Australia car names, Kentucky Lotus 6.
I finally got this shelving unit all stripped down and can spray it Orange and Black. Took me 6 weeks to grind 7 layers of old paint, and to finish it. I now have my bolt bins and other plastic bins all cleaned and parts all gone threw for proper sizes. Some of the metal parts bins are from a auto parts store auction. I have some nice Dorman brand that most had grade 8 nuts and bolts.
The bolt bins came from the auction, I went through everyone and measured for correct size. This was my coved 19 entertainment. Things that needed to be done but had so many more important things to do. I really didn’t mind doing this, just turn the music up and measure away. I think all the time and effort will pay off when trying to find the correct size of part doing a project. Not sure how many pounds they weighed but I would estimate around 600#s.
I feel like I’m finally getting my barn somewhat organized. Getting tired of moving it all around the shop. I had a hard time trying to figure how to lay it all out, I guess this will work.
The white boxes are disc brakes, hubs and roters, from auction. The other parts are shocks, mufflers etc. Came across a couple of Trushers mufflers that had the woodpecker decals in the box.

Thanks Blake, it toke me about 40 years to get here. But I was always thankful of any garage I had. I worked out in the snow a few times when I was in high school. My clutch went out on my 56 Chevy, on a Saturday afternoon. I had a hot date, hot as a 16 year old can get, wasn't going anywhere unless I fixed my Chevy. The snow was about 3 feet deep around the car. I made a tunnel under the drivers door and everything went in and out there. Tools were so cold, jack didn't want to lift the car. Finally after 3 hours laying on my back ,changing out clutch and pressure plate, and dropping the 4 speed all by myself. Finally got it all done , went in to thaw out, take a hot bath, got dress and left for the date. I went up to her house, mom came to the door and sid her daughter would not be going out tonight.
Women, and girls?
Not all lost, went picked up my 3 best friends and spent a few hours spinning around the high school parking lot. Had a blast till the man came and made me leave.

could be, I don't get much from Northern, and NW Kansas. Some of those countys are'nt well populated.

Lol [emoji23] all that work to be turned away lol. Believe me I’ve worked in the snow it *****. I live with my parents still and they are letting me make the carport into a garage they bought about 200 cinder blocks for me to put around it then if I need more I can get more. Then I have to arrange to do the floor as concrete then do where the door is going to go as concrete as well.

Yes I agree they are going to help a lot for keeping the Beetle out of the weather in the winter and rain. I managed to get it started today after replacing the electrical component of the ignition. So I will be excited to move it under there when I get all of the blocks up.

I have a 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle yes I know it’s a super but it was cheap and good condition lol it’s on a 1973 chassis but I think the front is from a 1971 is what I am told

Thanks I agree lol. The good thing is I know the complete history on the car since my teacher used to own it. The original owner died in the 1990s but he had a complete book of all the records and everything which was continued by my teacher.

Now I have a armadillo out tearing up my yard. Anyone know how to relocate without killing?

Often the humane thing is to kill it, but check your local regulations.

Relocating more often than not means that they will die anyways, in a more gruesome way. Wherever they are established they have a safe house, know the food sources, and know the dangers around. When you relocate them they end up starving to death while kicked around by the local dwellers and unable to find a safe spot.

Unchecked they can cause a lot of damage and can create habitats for rats and snakes and God knows what else. Get a .22

I've been having an infestation of armadillo's as well and their primary food source I've been told is grubs which means you need to get rid of them which isn't cheap or easy for the size yard you have to deal with. I have been using a combination of .22, .380, and 12 ga. to relocate them to a more appropriate habitat, I'm up to 7 in the past month or so. My yard on the other hand will take much more time to recover.

Been busy putting signs up, and plates.
Plates are on the ceiling of my barn. I’m trying to keep them in some kind of order. I have foreign, tribal, and military. Military took up 1 1/2 sections, probably around 200 plates.

Hello, is there anyone still left on my site? I'm gonna try and get some new stuff put on here. Just a little update on me. I had shoulder surgery about a month ago, and just started rehab. So its been hard to do anything. Even typing is a little rough. OK, before all of that I;ve been doing lots of work in the barn. Moving stuff around, painting the last three sections of the walls.
Put up all new LED lights. Love them so far.
