Is this one of those price mistakes where, once they see what happened, they cancel the order?

Hot damn. I put it in my cart and also a MM set, and it's true, the price drops down to $19.99 for the SAE and $29.99 for the metric.

I actually feel kind of guilty. Is this a mistake? My local Sears Hometown is run by a regular Joe. If he has to honor a legit price that Sears has set, that's one thing. But if this is a glitch, I can't do it to him.

I just bought these an hour ago for $29.99 each. Is there a way to price match the SAE one down to $19.99?

Also, kinda weird. They have the matching metric/SAE ones from black friday marked down to $29.99 each. The one in the link provided seems like a different product, and the description claims metric sizes...

Ok, trick seems to be that Craftsman Club members have advance access to Black Friday pricing through tomorrow. There are 44 advance offers in the Tools category.

So, the prices are legit, and for CC members.

Was gonna wait until tomorrow to buy it at the advertised $30. I jumped on the $20 once I saw this. Thanks a lot.

I'm finding two 7 piece SAE sets, one for $20 and the other $29.99, pictures look the same but the $20 one doesn't say "full polish"

Well I had to get in on it. Already got the full 16pc metric set so was thinking of getting the sae set.... For 17bucks after my sywr added there was nothing to think about. Had to get them at this price!

I think I am going to hold off. I was going to get a metric set for my brother. But, I'd rather get him something longer; these look short.

Thanks for the code and the deal. I just picked up 2 sets of SAE and one Metric set. Total with $5.18 in tax was $70.15.

For those who don't know, this is a made in China set.

I can't get the metric set to show the discount..... any secrets? I log in and the SAE set shows the discount in my cart but the Metrics are still full price. Thanks

Just picked up my Metric and SAE sets. Both made in China for Danaher.

The 20 piece regular set I also got is made in Taiwan for Apex.

They all seem to be the same quality, time will tell. Still, at $30/set even made in China, worth it to me.

I picked up a set at 10:30 this morning. Seems a good buy to me.

Even if I already have about eight various sets.

I have the Metric set already, and although they're made in China, seem decent so far.

Will get in on the SAE set, and maybe pick up a second as a Christmas gift.

the "limited edition" metric set does not have the 19 mm.. only goes up to 17mm. The 29.99 set includes the 19 mm.

You have to be logged in and actually have to start the checkout process to see the $19.99 price.

Other Black Friday prices show up just by being logged in.

These sets are also being discussed in a thread started by member lennoxlennox under General Tool Discussion. In post #13 member Skin mentioned there are two different sets one made in Taiwan one in China. The deals if I understand it are for SYWR members (easy to join)good till tonite as a pre-black Friday sale.

Not necessarily. I picked up the $30 version of the set, because an 11/16 seemed more useful, they were full polish, and I was hoping for taiwain over china. The $30 set I bought was made in china. I dont know enough to say that some of them couldnt be made in Taiwan, but the set I got was from china.

Locally what I saw yesterday are all made in China (the $20 set and the $30 sets). Good deal, but I'll pass and just pick up the 20pc regular Taiwan set.

I bought the two $29.99 sets with the $5 coupon. So roughly $27.50. I'm a made in USA guy. Wanted the Craftsman Industrial but they only sell the SAE. So I passed. Bought these two, had an issue with store pickup as the order did not go thru. I have to wonder if the two $29.99 sets were no supposed to be discounted.

The tool manager approved the transaction and canceled my Sears.com online order, as it was still pending 2 days later.
