What was the deal? It's showing $145 for a 12 piece wrench set. I don't care what the brand is, no 6 to 19mm 12-piece wrench set is worth that much.

But then again, women love Louis Vuitton bags...

I'll stick with my cheap Stanley and Craftsman Evolve sets.

The amazon listing will still work if anyone is interested. It says out of stock but will let you order at that price and wait for shipping. Might be worth giving it a shot.

Strange. I just looked at it 2 minutes ago and it said $140-something dollars. Now it says $58.57 and Temporarily Out of Stock.

Worth a shot.

The order might get canceled though.

With this many people ordering they probably will get cancelled if one or two orders went through they would probably honer it but with more then 10 we will probably get a email stating the price was a mistake.

Got a set today in the mail. These are made in Germany. I was surprised at how light and thin these are compared to my other wrenches. Seem to be high quality, I'll have to use them and see how I like them.

Thanks for posting OP.

Sort of but sort of not.

I don't think gedore is worth a premium but it's not poorly constructed. I use cheap wrenches because I'm not a wrench guy but a professional that's a heavy wrench user probably won't be able to operate efficiently using cheaper wrenches. Just the way it is man.

Doesn't mean you can't buy quality made stuff cheap just means...different strokes for different folks.

Depends on the level of gedore we're talking here but they might be the 6x.** asking price. The import stuff not so much because you can probably get it cheaper with a different name stamped in it.

Got mine yesterday. The seals on the box were broken. So I inspected each wrench and made sure the inventory was correct. Everything is brand new and correct.

Had this problem recently with a Metabo grinder I purchased from Amazon. Broken seals, and had some mixed signs on whether it might have seen use or was just kinda dirty. Coincidence that it was both orders to do with german tools? Or Amazon trying to pedal off things that aren't quite new as new? I would have been annoyed about the wrenches if they had been intended as a gift for instance.

Mine just arrived today. They are super light. I thought the box was empty and had to break the seal to inspect. They have "Made in Germany" on the box and on individual wrench. The wrenches are short, Craftsman RP short. The open ends are very thin, almost cone wrench thin but not quite. They are not shiny, nor smooth without casting defects. They seem to fit bolt well, though, especially the box end.
