Its my daily driver! Currently awaiting bedliner and a host of other goodies. Planning to do a lift kit and bigger wheels and tires. Just something to play around with.
That is awesome, I'd love one but I don't think it would be great in the climate over here. Just going through your thread now in between my baby duties. Very cool read indeed!

Its surprisingly perfect for me over here. I live 4 miles from work with no high speed driving to get there. I can drive it all over my property without getting stuck like my big f250 is prone to doing. I also love the fact that its not something you see everyday over here. If I could find an acty van I would ****** it up in a second. That was what I wanted originally so I could toss the kids in it but the truck just fell in my lap. Thanks for checking out my thread too.

Ha, the Honda Acty Van, in pale blue, was every where during the 80’s. We used to have two a day visit us at the workshop, one full of sandwiches and the other full of videos to rent.
Fun times
Not seen one for ages now

I too used to have local cakes and delivered by one of these! They were the go to for industrial estate catering trucks!

I've been looking into flatpack homes and garages for a while now, and the idea of a German flatpack built in the UK sounds amazing! German engineering is usually top-notch, and I bet their flatpacks are super efficient and high quality. Plus, the convenience of having everything pre-cut and ready to assemble is a huge plus. It could save a lot of time and hassle compared to traditional building methods. If you're serious about this, you might want to check out scottsofthrapston.co.uk . They have a lot of experience with this kind of thing and might be able to offer some advice or even products that suit your needs. I've heard good things about their craftsmanship and customer service.

Not much to report so far this year, garage is still too small!
I think I won't increase the footprint of said garage at this property though as its not worth it for me. We're discussing moving house which is exciting, as I can start afresh but also the demands of what I want from the next property (land big enough to split, so I can do this all over on one half) are probably unrealistic at this point.

Talking about garages, it still fits the Peugeot 205 perfectly, good thing too as since the baby turned up I have driven it maybe twice. There's no chance in getting the latest family toy in - a T6 Transporter 4Motion Swamper. I sold the missus on its absolute need... for the family :D
To be fair, we'd already gone on quite a few day trips that we would never have done in a car.
The size difference between the T6 and 205 is MENTAL.

Quickjack had 20% off everything, I was going to pull the trigger on a 7000TLX model on offer for £1260.00 shipped - but decided not- whether I regret that in the coming months is to be seen.

I did however copy others on here and bought a 3T Vevor air jack - I have to say I am dead impressed. Obviously you have to stick axle stands in before getting near it but it says it'll keep it up for a minimum of 45 minutes. I left it up for that and had no drop at all, although the car I was working on was very light.

I also bought a £20 balance bike for my daughters 2nd birthday, it was tatty but they're £170 is new, which is insane.
Did a refurb on it ready for her birthday next month.

Finally, we're doing a refit on the garden. The wooden ramp was only supposed to be temporary to get through building regs, but its been 6 years and still going strong. The missus wants 3 sided steps up and then slabs set into to the stones. The edging will also be dug out on the lawn and some metal edging used instead. This is what we've chosen...

we don't have a big garden, so doing the steps will allow us to bring the lawn out another metre or so along the edge.

Work in progress... this is how it looks right now.

We’ve just got rid of three of the little ones bikes,
Fortunes to buy, peanuts to get rid off.
I vote to keep the ramp, it looks good in my old age.
Lovely T6, you sold it as the “need for the family “
But didn’t show her the price I’m guessing
Good work

Steve 🍻

I know mate, I am shocked by the price of kid stuff, shoes are practically the same price as adults! We use vinted a fair bit for buying and selling shoes and coats- bits that will only fit for a matter of months!

You know, we actually went halves on the T6! She wanted it to be an equal purchase, so that any wear and tear or knocks won't cause an argument! suits me..!

We took it to Wales last week for a quick night away, we took our paddleboards and also went Gorge walking /coasteering (great fun, no photos but is jumping off water falls and climbing over rocks)

I was tempted to go back to EV for my daily/commuter as my current steed is wasted really on the commute, not amazing MPG and noisy in the mornings for the neighbours. I have changed my mind on that though, partly @Purist fault as he's made his daily sound awesome, so now I'll make mine louder and defeat my earlier intentions for better soundzzz. OPF delete and sports cat incoming.

It's had a remap recently as well, to unleash a little more of the B58's potential.

Thanks mate, I did see your truck and knowing your earlier work it'll no doubt be over built and very cool...still not as cool as your Acty though!
I always keep tabs on your thread @Xti04 when I drop in to GJ as do something similar for other peoples cars or to flip them, but on a much smaller scale than you!

I think its roughly similar, like 477ps is 470 bhp. I think the dyno has slightly over stated it though as I think stage 1+ is around 450bhp mark on 98 ron.

Thanks Samb! Always glad to see ya check in and see what's going on over on the other side of the pond! 470 hp is no joke!I could get in a lot of trouble with some power like that. I did some brake work on an S5 Audi last night that was pretty quick. It wasnt the 2.9 twin turbo RS variant but still ran great. With the power these modern cars make, it takes a lot of right foot restraint for me. Makes me glad I can hammer the accelerator to the floor in the acty.
