GJ Secret Santa '10

I received my gift today and also sent one out to my SS recipient (it should be there Saturday/Monday).

It's going to be really tough not opening this present for the next 10 days!

Edit: Here's the gift waiting under the tree (very lonely ).

Question: Is it kosher to drop off packages in person?-- I'm at school currently, and my S.S lives enroute to my drive home. Which would be more respectful of their privacy/appropriate?

Shall I:
a) Ring bell, wait for answer, personally hand it over to whomever answers the door.
b) Do a ring-n-dash, so I don't make anyone uncomfortable?

When my wife was pregnant with our first she didn't want her parents to find out till later in the pregnancy. So for Christmas I dropped their presents on their doorstep, rang the bell and ran back into my truck (we lived 2 hours away).. they just saw the tail lights going down the street. We never did explain ourselves other then we were in a rush. They probably thought we were retarted.. Anyway do the ring and dash.. at the very least it will be fun..

I received this envelope earlier in the week. I am not sure it is my GJ SS gift, but I am not expecting anything else so I am going to wait and open on Christmas.

I can see my package got delivered to my recipient as well. Now, I can just wait until Christmas morning.
