Will this heat 600 sq. ft ??
Can anyone tell me anything about these"Dayton" furnaces?
I guy near me has two, brand new in the box for $445.00 ea.
The orig. owner of my new place did all his metal and wood working in the full basement shop of the house, and never insulated the garage. So I plan on insulating the fully drywalled garage and want to heat it. I'm more of a wrencher than a woodworker and like to work on my car/truck and motorcycles.
Plans are to install a MaxJax, cabinets/bench, install my hydraulic motorcycle ramp/lift and make my "man cave". But I need to heat the thing in the winter. I'm up in the south Cariboo region of BC and it gets a little chilly in the winter.
Below zero Celsius in the winter a lot of the time. I'm wondering if this will do the trick. There was a link somewhere where you could put all the info in on the heater and garage and it would tell you if it would satisfy the needs. But I can't find it now.
