My argument is very simple, and this is my last response on this thread... why buy something foreign made, when there are domestic made products just as good or better. Look what happened to the American electronics industry. It's GONE. Do you want that to happen to the American tool industry?
Also: Buy American (and Canadian) cars!
Sure, there are domestic products that are just as well made, but there's still personal preference. So what if you can get a Craftsman ratchet or a Snap-on ratchet? If guys want a GearWrench ratchet, they go buy one. Whether it's because they like the ratchet action, the grips, their good experience with the brand or just to try them out. It doesn't affect you, so stay the hell out of that.
We all have our own preferences, and no-one can argue or question them.
For me:
Snap-on Ratchets (American)
Elora Wrenches (German)
Ingersoll Rand Air Tools (American/Taiwanese)
Knipes Pliers (German)
Snap-on toolbox (American/Canadian)
Draper/Danaher impact sockets (Taiwanese)
DeWalt & Bosch Power Tools (German)
Unbranded Crowbar (Spanish)
Volkwagen Cars (German)
My American tools are good, my German tools are good, my Taiwanese tools are good, my Spanish tools are good and my Canadian tools are good.
Why? Because i don't buy **** tools. I don't care where they're made, as long as they're good.
I would offer to lend you my "Made In England" shovel to get all the sand out of your ******, but since it's not American-made it's probably utter ****.
