Anybody remember the offer for the free Irwin Blue Blades? Well, mine showed up today. Five Irwin Blue Blades (awesome blades, btw) In a very cool flyer/catalog type deal. I was surprised they came.
I posted that offer and I'm still waiting ...OctaneMotorsports said:Anybody remember the offer for the free Irwin Blue Blades? Well, mine showed up today. Five Irwin Blue Blades (awesome blades, btw) In a very cool flyer/catalog type deal. I was surprised they came.

Monique,
Thank you for your quick response to this problem. I look forward to receiving the blades.
I learned about your offer in a thread on Garagejournal.com. Its a great website with a fairly large membership. There is a tool forum on the site where your offer was mentioned. Some of the members have received their blades, but many have not. You or someone from your company may wish to respond on this thread as to the best way to solve this problem. Your participation on this site could be a valuable resource for your company.

Are you flipping the blade over when one side wears out? Simply take the blade out and put it back in the other way, and voila, it's like a brand new blade.ba614 said:in fact I have gone through a blade a week since I bought ... if I ever get my free blades I'll need them!

Send them an e-mail and see what happens-can't hurt.
.Mine hold up great to cutting over a hundred thick cardboard boxes every day as well as random zip ties, etc. thrown in there.mulepackin said:Got my Irwin blades today. Haven't had to use them yet though. Wish I had some drywall to hang, or roofing to do. That would be the real test of them....what am I thinking I hate drywalling and roofing.
I'm guessing that the Lenox Gold are going to be far and away the better blades.PAToyota said:Just got mine earlier this week... So I guess they are trickling out... Haven't had a chance to try one yet, but am going to compare them to the Lenox Gold blades...
