I wonder wheree I can buy a matco 88 kit for a 1/2 drive Gearwrench?
on the matco truck....I just stopped the first truck I saw in a parking lot and bought 2 kits, he asked me why and I told him and he said "yep, done that a few times myself"
Don't have a local truck. Wonder if you can order direct from matco
Boy do you ever have a misconception of reality. I posted all the negetive experiance with Gearwrench. When they finally made it right I posted that as well as it's only fair. never said they were the Devil and always said I liked the tools themselves. I just complained about the the warranty. In my case the made it right. If my warranty issues rubbed you the wrong way Tough ****. I posted the bad and the good. It's only fair. If I kept pounding them in the dirt after they resolved my issue that would just make me a stupid ******* like some members here. Screw me over and I'll tell the world, fix the problem I'll tell that as well. If you feel it in your best interest to lie where you buy your tools in order to get them warrantied more power to you. I bought the tools new for my son and not at some yard sale. They just happen to come from a dealer off of ebay. That shouldn't have made any differance. I'm not on here preaching to go out and buy Gearwrench. As for myself I fell a little safer buying them but still a little gun shy about pulling the trigger on a major gearwrench purchace.
As for me I personally like to hear other peoples experiance when it comes to warranty. My initail post was because Gearwrench did me wrong on the warranty. I knew it, they knew it and I let others know about it. If nobody complains nothing ever gets fixed. My ******* and moaning may have paved the way for your next Gearwrench warranty claim. If my post bother you so much there is an ignore option readily available to you.
Local Advance Auto has Gearwrench ratchets. I doubt if they would give trouble over warrentying tools....
KEH
Great news. So what are you going to ***** about next?
The thing about me is not only will I ***** when Ive been hosed I'll also man up and mention when my problem has been resolved. I'm sure Maning up isn't a concept that you are very familiar with.
The remark about my radiator plugged with Fur is a prime example of a childlike remark from the mind of a 10 year old. You should trying growing up.

If I started a bitchfest about a company that wronged me and they finally made things right I would post it. I'd still have serious misgivings about future dealings with them though..............
Beyond that you don't know me
You left yourself wide open for that one. I doubt anyone held a gun to your head and made you post about all the animals you allegedly killed on a roadtrip.
I also find it ironic being accused of being childlike by someone with such a poor command of the english language. I could write better than that when I was 10![]()
It's good to hear GW came through. I have many gearwrench tools which I purchased on sale in my truck box and my wifes car that have held up well. I have however broke several tools, and I always call the customer service number and they resolve my issue and send the new tools out. I can honestly say I have used the warranty 3-4 times and I have never had a problem. They ask me where I bought the tool, but in my case it has always been Sears.
To anyone who is hesitant on buying the brand, I can say I have always had a great experience with them.
I thought you said Cripe wasnt a place that Gearwrench would warranty as they arent an authorized seller?????
And the reason people are questioning you is your title, I would not by any means call your experience "great"
I am going to keep buying and using them but not because of your opinions of them, or their warranty.
very unhappy with my gently used 3/8 ratchet by gearwrench. can 't get it warrantied or parts to fix it. run around from apex when i call them. be careful of a warranty that can't be provided. won't be buying from them again.
