Does it have the ratchet? Thats the #3R mdl. and they're a lot more desirable. The large captain wheel version are very collectable.
I would say $150 is a fair buddy price for the normal #3, I think $300 is more typical on the open used market. Does it have the revolving slotted plate? that is also something you would really want to have and effects value unless you already have one laying around that fits.
If it has the ratchet, I would be all over it.
Manual arbors are nice to have for the smaller and more sensitive items needing pressing over hydraulic, having that hand feel can be very key.
Edit: I'll add that Greenerds are excellent quality and compare with Dake's and Famco's, they rightly command a higher price than Palmgrens, Harbor freights and other the presses being made overseas.
Also, #3 is the perfect size for a manual. I also have a 1T and its more like a toy, a lot of the times when walking toward it to press something, I would turn around and walk toward the bigger one because I could already see it was too small for the task at hand.
