I saw these at an indoor flea market and had to have them. Channel Lock Grip Locks. Any idea how old or not so old these are?

Picked these up too. Going to make a couple of stands. I used to be able to get these free.

Never seen those pliers before, there really cool. Did those harrow disks cost you much? I could use some but haven't come across any for super cheap/free.

Well I paid more than I wanted $20each. But I don't see them around here. Not much farming in this area.

Thanks for the info!!

Gedore used to make locking pliers with a similar mechanism. I wonder if they licensed the design. they came in both the regular round jaw variety as well as the parallel type that only seems to be found on German locking pliers. Don't know if Gedore was the manufacturer or wether it was another company like Wezag or Bollman grip maybe monte can chime in. Cool find though. Pairs occasionally turn up on Ebay but usually a bit pricey. The pliers look like a good design.

Looks pretty similar to this Channellock TOG-L-LOK that I found a while back.

Shadowrulez-- I also found a pair of those. They are in my tools polishing section of my box haha.

DMW-- cool find, I think I've seen those before at the flea
Market . Now that I know their channellocks I'll have to keep my eyes open for them again.

Nice, I find the similarity in the back plastic piece interesting. Sadly I saw a chance to purchase a few pairs of the german ones on ebay for around $16 a pair a while back. Don't know whose brand they were manufactured under. Decided not to cause I didn't have enough info on them. Somebody else bought them. Now that I know how much the german parallel locking pliers sell for I'm still kicking myself. I'll probably purchase a pair at some point. Does the auto-adjust feature slip more easily that a regular vise grip.
