Set up a shop vac by their entrance and then grab a lawn chair and a beer. Cheap and very satisfying entertainment. 30 minutes later the nest will be empty and bees inside the shop vac are so battered that they can no longer fly. Put them in a plastic sack with some insect killer and it's game over for them.

An 8 year old and 2 seven year olds figured if the 8 year old dumped a bucket of mud in the hole, the next kid put cardboard on the mud and I put a chair on the pile.
We all got stung alot when they came out of another hole.

A half bottle of dishwashing soap in a 5 gallon pail of water, then put the bucket over the entrance. The soap is a surfactant that will allow the water to drown the insects. Effective and not harmful to the environment.
