I’m wiring service entrance for a accessory shed myself. The inspector is a great guy, I’m just hoping to avoid a fail, hahahaha. I purchased a meter base/service panel combo which feeds the service panel which is inside of the shed.

-I realize the service panel which is inside is considered a subpanel.
-the bonding screw has been removed from the sub panel..

Question--
The grounding bar in main panel will have 3 connections, correct?
1.Factory installed wire connecting the neutral in the meter base to the ground bar.
2. Copper ground wire going to the grounding rods in the ground.
3. Copper wire connecting the subpanels ground.

the inside panel would not be called a service panel. the service panel is the meter/main panel outside.

which model meter/main do you have? typically a meter main does not have a separate ground bar. the neutral bar is typically bonded to the panel enclosure and all neutrals and grounds are landed on the same bar.

if you do have separate ground bar then you would be correct. if not then youre missing the neutral wire from the subpanel.

It’s an Eaton MBX816B200BTS

To clarify my last post, the meter base neutral is factory connected to the ground bar in the service panel since it’s a combo unit).

You arecorrect. The neutral bar is also the ground bar. The utility connection at the top, the feeder neutrals and grounds in the lower half as well as the gec to the rods.

that is considered a bonded neutral bar. no ground bar in those panels.

So you should have 3 wires connected to the neutral bar, NOT including the factory installed jumper wire from the meter base
-Neutral from subpanel
-EGC/ground from subpanel
-GEC from rods
