), find out how much it will cost to have one dropped at your place so you can clean up and how much it would cost to have it hauled/dumped.Bill,
bless you for doing what your doing. Even baby steps are steps!

Paul,
Now it's starting to get exciting! I've got a fire in the belly. I want to go down there and set up the DP and drill a few more holes!!!
It's cool to know I have that tool in it's proper room and it will be available for use anytime I want. That is power!
.......going down there right now!
UPDATE:
Went down and set up the DP.
Set up a light.
Gathered tools for it.
Now I need to clean and organize the garage further so I can do projects involving it...
Photo to follow here and in the OLD drill presses thread.
Attached are photos in the sellers basement shop:

Do not quit. Do (I think Yoda said that)

I have to be honest here - and please take this as a compliment (how I mean it) and not being tactless...
That first picture of the drill press is the very first picture I've seen you post that makes your garage look like a normal shop.
Please continue to do what you are doing - it is paying off. Get the rest of the place looking like that.![]()
Dave your Jedi skills are lacking go back and look again at the first picture of the drill press " in the sellers basement " . I'll give ya a hint look to the left of the drill press over on the shelves.

BREAKTHROUGH!
DP is in the garage!
Photo shows it with head and table lowered and the garage viewed from the back hall.
Almost all the pile cleaned up and a 3rd dumpster filled.
Floor is red there.........I had forgotten.
Found boxes of taps and tap wrenches in the pile.
Now I see the next steps!
Wife is helping by bringing home dinner,,,,,,but also went to resale shop!!!![]()
Rick,
I am amazed at your ability to list and sell things that are useful. I'm not there yet. In fact, my first reaction to your post about selling the HF 5 drawer was, "Hey, how much?"
I will be painfully honest here. My errand today was to look at another Apache pop up. It was a hard top, soft side. Very big (sleeps 8), for only $100. Very good deal. Could part it out or resell it for a lot more. Luckily the lady who was first in line took it. Would I have bought it. I've got to admit that I would have.
I've got a long way to go.
Well, we just finished dinner, so I'm gonna kiss her and go down and do some work.
I did stop on the way home and pick up a couple of free wall and pocket charts to use with the DP for drilling and tapping.
Bill
they both roll .Another pop-up? That's not a sickness, that's just stupid. I'll take the risk of getting banned. Needed to be said.

Yes it did need to be said. I am SO glad it didn't work out. And very disappointed in my own ability to resist. I do have photos of the thing. They take up a lot less space. Maybe I'll just collect photos from now on!
