First thing that popped into my mind also. The fight is just postponed for now.

Personally my wife would have been upset at the impact to her parking space, and plate flinging mad the first time she couldnt easily put the infant car seat on its base because of some cabinets

She'll probably just park further over (a lot further), leaving you with 1/2 of your current space.

I might be pushing my luck... more cabinets and the “oil change shelf” is on her side by the garage door

I did put the cabinets high enough so i wont bump my head.... im 6’2” so they start at 6’ 4”

All the other **** is going out to the shed and 2 bins of drop clothes that need to be washed.

You let your wife drive a car into the garage? Last time I did she drove through the back wall.

Ohhhh but she wont park on the otherside of the garage she doesnt like that its hard to tell where the garage door is on the right side... she ends ip parking too far to the left.

So she is going to be pulling in on the left side of the garage...

My parking spot right just got smaller

Looks like you will be parking outside.:wtf: At least this way you will have room to put in a cot and live a solitary existence. Since you will be living a monks life it might be a good time to learn how to brew beer.

I figure if he tells her that the rest of us can get in on a cheap tool sale after the funeral.

Yeah and bonus for us as she will base her sale prices on the amount he told her he spent!!!

Its has started..... Im doomed

I got the “Why the [emoji2959] is there a computer in the garage!?!?!?” I replied with “why not it was $40 raspberry pi..... [emoji848]I can use it instead of getting my phone greasy...” That was 1/2 win, that was short lived.

Followed by in rapid succession by

“When the [emoji2959] can I park in the garage again?!?! My windows are foggy in the morning” Followed by the look...[emoji35] you know that look [emoji35][emoji380]

I told her to “go through the garden **** and throw out what she didnt want....”. That was a terrible deflection..... [emoji15] I turned tail and ran off to the garage...

Its going to be a long weekend.

Take advantage of the situation and tell your wife perhaps an addition to the garage or a new standalone shop would be the best plan. What could go wrong ....?

to be fair when we had our house built the only thing the wife wanted was to park in the garage. so we bought some property that had a 1500sq ft shop and built a 1400 sq ft house with a 2 car garage.

in 19 years she has never been able to park in the garage, yes I do feel bad about it but I have no room in the shop, even with a 720 sq ft addition to the shop. maybe next year I will build another addition and see if there's room.

Gotta say im on the wifes side in this. You did something you knew would piss her off, and didnt even have a good workaround prepared ahead of time, and when challenged threw the garden stuff statement in her face. In woman speak that translates to "i dont care about the problems ive created for you, and its now your responsibility to fix it".

Plus shes pregnant and everythings harder for her.

Id work on doing something that shows you appreciate her. At the very least get her car in the garage with plenty of room around it, even if that means a slight inconvenience to your garage time. Shits gonna get real when the kid arrives.

So I bought a home gym for the basement.... My timing might be off on this purchase. But the deal was there so i will save money and time in the long run.

She will also get her parking spot back today... so she does get a win!!!

Karate lessons or some other form of self defense might have been a better option than a home gym.

By normal price do you mean normal used price or normal retail?

For rogue bumper plates
I paid $1.4 per lbs w/o shipping for like new plates. Which she thru in some change plates 2.5lbs and 1.5lbs
New is about $2 per lbs with shipping from rogue

I did get another set of like new titan bumper plates 4x10lbs, and 2x25 per lbs including and old bar for under $1 per lbs. They used them in a photo shoot.

I also picked up a squat rack today too on the cheap.

The only thing i need is an adjustable bench now.

I think this is code for "I rented a studio apartment with a garage on the far side of town, and will be back on line once I get internet there, and am sure the coast is clear..."

I know a good attorney who moonlights as an undertaker. Keep this up, you may need both. :lol_hitti

Now to return the extra lumber, throw out the useless lumber, make a laundry mat owner hate me for washing 10 dirty drop cloths, and to part with some items that i am giving away. Then i can park on my side of the garage. Another days work and $30 to a laundry mat.

I have a decent amount of room to work with in front of the car.

I also need to finish adding the final touches to the work bench.
